Amy is an incredibly accomplished and qualified professional in the field of dance and acrobatics. She is a fully qualified ISTD DFR approved professional and Acrotrix qualified teacher. In addition, Amy holds a diploma qualification in Musical Theatre from Cambridge. Amy's dedication to the safety and well-being of her students is evident and holds a valid and up-to-date DBS check, first aid training, and child protection knowledge and continues to develop with annual CPD training .

 

With over 10 years of teaching experience and 23 years in the dance world, Amy has successfully taught and mentored countless aspiring dancers and acrobats, earning coaching achievements and lecturing recognition. Currently, Amy takes charge as the lead trainer for most weekly classes, where she imparts her knowledge and expertise to the students. She is known for running a well-organised and top class Academy.

Ellie started at ALAD as a student, performing in showcases and competing. In 2022, Ellie began as an assistant coach and in 2024 after graduating from the University of Bath she became Co-Principal. Ellie has completed her ISTD Associate Qualification, holds a full DBS check and first aid training.

Alongside studying for her degree, Ellie competed across the country with the University of Bath’s dance and cheerleading teams! During her final year, Ellie was the lead coach and choreographer of the Advanced Lyrical Competition Team. Her team reached new heights when they placed 2nd in the largest university competition in the UK scoring an outstanding mark of 98% from Strictly Pro Karen!

Dawn, also known as 'Dawnie', has over 30 years of experience in the dance world. Her daughters started dancing at the age of  3, and she has been involved in their journey with A.L.A.D from the beginning.

 

Dawn helps with shows, competitions, fundraising events, and Saturday classes. She knows where to find good deals on competition costumes and is known for her attention to sleek class hair buns and correct uniforms. Dawn also has 7  years of experience working with early years and has a full DBS check. Her expertise and dedication greatly contribute to the success of A.L.A.D.
